1. US House: Turkey must return Christian properties

#Summary
The Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US House proposed legislation about the Turkey Christian Churches Accountability Act. It is for stolen or unreturned christian properties in Turkey. The US are pressing the Turkey to return Christian properties to their rightful owners.

#Persuasive
I think Korea has similar situation on the heritage(In this article, church property). Because we were exposed to external aggressions in the past, many cultural properties and assets were confiscated or looted. Some people may think it is different case. But I believe that we have to try harder to protect the our properties regardless of location.

2. Two British people killed while on Jeep safari in Turkey

#Summary
In the one of famous tourist attraction in Turkey, there is a Jeep Safari crash. One women died at the scene, and another died at the hospital later. For this, two british people died and two others injured. This isn't the first time there have been accidents.

#Persuasive
Recently, the percentage of accidents about safety is on a rise. When I first read this article, I really wonder whether Jeep Safari is safe. I am surprised it is continuing despite so many accidents. After searching picture for Jeep Safari, I also think it is pretty interesting. But we know it is always better to be safe than anything.

3. Water levels in Turkey's dams continue to fall

#Summary
The current drought has been hard on Turkey. It have great effect on Turkey's hydroelectric production. Electricity production from dams has decreased, so they are reliant on natural gas plants. The long drought will cause not only a shortage of dam water, but also agricultural producers.

#Persuasive
When I was a middle school student, I was a member of environmental group. One day, there was a festival for advertising water shortage. It was not until participation on festival that I realized how important water is. Long drought in Turkey has become huge problem since it influences from electricity generation to agriculture.

4. Turkey’s first ‘women’s party’ to be established

#Summary
Turkey's new woman party filed petition for being a official women's party. This party was created quite a while ago, but it was never received recognition officially. They says they would respect diversity including gender, religion, ethnicity and so on. What's unique about this party is 2 men are included as founding members.

#Persuasive
You can see many cases that reflect improved the rights of women. And this article is one of them. Many countries as well as Korea have their first female presodent. As women's status grows, so will the country. Equality  is not important to only women, I mean, It is crucial for both men and women.
